Dragon River school of Tai Chi Chuan

Chen style Tai Chi Chuan, classes in Nottingham, Mansfield, Ravenshead & Alfreton (Derbyshire)

Some videos of the Chen style:

Below are a few videos that I hope you can follow at home to help you learn the forms we cover in the class.  Feel free to download them and use them any way you like.

I've also started producing my own DVDs.  Although they're mainly aimed at helping my students, in the same way my teacher did way back when I first started learning Tai Chi, they're starting to turn out quite well - which is nice!

Just in case you'd like better quality videos, with narrated instructions and from different angles and speeds, I've got DVDs to help you learn the Chen 18 and LaoJia forms & Yang 24 too, as well as a couple of Chi Kun exercises. Ask in class for details.

And if you don't have a DVD player, I've just started an online shop - buy the videos you'd like and once you've downloaded them, you can play them whenever & wherever you like!  Just go to the https://chentaichi.webs.com/apps/webstore/" target="_blank">Webstore page.

Its a little bit yellow, and from a few years ago, but hopefully you can get a fair idea what the Chen style 'second form' is all about - not quite your stereotype for what Tai Chi might look like!

Very much what most people expect Tai Chi to look like - one of the first forms to be introduced in the UK & the first one I learned, back in the early 90's.
